Field Trip FAQ’s
If you are planning a field trip to Green Meadows- please read the following thouroughly to ensure that check-in and your day goes smoothly.
-Where do we go when we arrive? When you arrive, leave all of your students on the bus and head to the red admission building. You will receive your stickers, pony ride voucher, and will select your hayride time.
-Do we have to stay as a group? You must stay as a group (or classroom) for pony rides and hayrides, other than that you can split up into smaller chaperone led groups.
- When is our pony ride time? You will receive one pony ride voucher per classroom. Your group can head to the pony ring anytime before 2pm. *If you are breaking into smaller chaperoned groups- good times for everyone to meet back together are upon arrival, before/after the hayride, before/after lunch, or upon departure.
-In the past, we’ve requested individual pony ride tickets for every student, can we still do that? There will be an additional charge of $5 per classroom, if individual tickets are requested.
-When is our hayride time? You will select your hayride time upon arrivial- about 100 guests can fit on the hayride, so if your group is larger than that, we will schedule additional times.
-Should we leave our lunches on the bus? Up to you! We have wheelbarrows that lunches can be stored in, as well.
* Remaining balance must be paid in full before entering the farm. You are able to pay before your trip or upon arrival. You or any of your group will not be admitted until your trip has been paid
* The cost per person is $12. No free admissions. This includes teachers, aides, and chaperones.
* All chaperones MUST be included in groups total. If they are paying separately at the gate, they must wait until 10:00 AM and will be charged $15.75 for admission.
* No refunds will be issued for overpayment.
