Green Meadows Farm will be hosting our 1st annual Scarecrow competition! The idea is simple: come up with a concept for a scarecrow, build it, and bring it to Green Meadows Farm on Friday, September 22nd between 12pm-5pm.  We will display your scarecrow during the entire Fall season.  Our farmers will be placing a vote for their favorite! The winner(s) will receive a 2024 Season Pass to the farm!

• Pre-registration is required. Deadline for entry is Wednesday, September 20th.  Entry forms need to be completed online. Drop-off is September 22nd between 12pm-5pm.
• Winners will be announced on October 29th on social media!

SCARECROW GUIDELINES

1. Make sure your scarecrow is sturdy and weather-proof. They will be displayed for over a month outside.

2. Scarecrows must be able to stand on their own, or with a stake. They may be between 4 feet and 8 feet tall.

3. Scarecrows must be appropriate.  Any political, offensive, or profane entries will not be accepted.

4. Scarecrows can be picked up between 2:00pm- 5:00pm on Sunday, October 29th.  If not picked up, they become property of Green Meadows Farm.

5. Green Meadows Farm assumes no responsibility for lost or damaged items. Please do not add something valuable or irreplaceable to your scarecrow.
